Information we collect

In order to process your job application, we will collect the following pieces of personal information from you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Education background
  • Employment background
  • CV
  • Further personal information may also be provided in your application documents

If you are successful in your application, further information will be requested from you and you will be advised of this in due course.

What we do with your information

Access to the information you provide will be restricted to HR and relevant recruiting teams. Your CV will be shared with the hiring manager.

The information provided will be kept for 6 months after the role applied for closes. At this point, all your data will be deleted from our systems. During this period, you may log into your account and apply for other available roles at Acxiom. If you are no longer interested in being considered for new roles, please contact [email protected]

Transferring information outside the EU

We will transfer the personal information we collect about you to a country outside the EU namely the United States (US) in order to perform our contract with you, pursue our legitimate interests and to comply with our legal obligations.  Acxiom complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States to ensure that there is an adequate level of protection for your data. You can view our certification under this program Here. Acxiom also ensures that your personal information is treated in a way that respects both the EU and UK laws of data protection. Your rights

You have a number of rights under the GDPR data protection regulation.  For example, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data that Acxiom holds about you. This is known as a ‘Subject Access Request’. You can ask us to change how we process or deal with your personal data, and you may also have the right in some circumstances to have your personal data amended or deleted.
