Client Partner

Acxiom is seeking a Client Partner to lead and expand a portfolio of accounts, with a focus on achieving revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction goals. This role involves acting as a strategic trusted advisor and driving transformation by aligning the client’s business objectives with Acxiom’s data, technology, and service capabilities. The Client Partner will manage their portfolio by leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional work, ensuring the client values the partnership and recognises the unique and incremental business value provided by Acxiom’s services.

The Client Partner collaborates cross-functionally with delivery, new business, partner alliances, and marketing teams to ensure client success, revenue growth, and long-term sustainability of the partnership. Ideal candidates will possess strong business acumen, the ability to understand clients’ businesses and challenges, a natural inclination to solve problems, and able to leverage Acxiom and Omnicom’s capabilities to address clients’ challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Own the commercial success of the account portfolio, driving upsells, renewals and expansion of services while maintaining strong retention metrics.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and customer / digital transformation needs, aligning Acxiom’s capabilities to provide value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with delivery, partner alliances, marketing, and commercial leadership teams to drive client success and account expansion.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for client engagements, ensuring projects meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead contract discussions, pricing strategies, and statements of work (SOWs) to drive favorable outcomes for both Acxiom and the client.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to provide insights and thought leadership to clients and internally within the agency.

Experience and key competencies

  • 8+ years in enterprise client management, strategic account leadership, or consulting, preferably within a marketing technology SI, digital agency, or a technology solutions provider.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Passionate about delivering value and building long-term partnerships.
  • Marketing Technology & Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing technology and cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Treasure Data, Google Cloud Platform), digital transformation, and omnichannel trends.
  • Strategic Sales & Negotiation: Proven track record of managing complex deals, including renewals, expansions, and consultative selling.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers within enterprise organisations.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to address client challenges effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with technical delivery, partner alliances, and marketing teams to drive successful client engagements.
  • Metrics & KPI Focus: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track account performance, revenue growth, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex solutions in a compelling and concise manner.
  • Adaptability & Agility: Keen to work in a fast-paced, evolving business and industry.
