Cookies and Similar Technologies
Acxiom uses technologies to help us understand which parts of our websites are visited most often and understand traffic patterns on pages.
Sensors: To determine your ability to receive HTML-based e-mail messages, Acxiom may include a coded sensor in its HTML-based e-mail messages. The sensor activates when the e-mail message is opened and flags the e-mail address of the recipient as one that is capable of receiving HTML-based e-mail messages. This capability helps us to send the e-mail in a format you can read, which allows us to track the aggregate number of e-mails read and to measure, in aggregate, if any of the links in the e-mail were accessed. No other information is collected or used. If the recipient cannot receive HTML e-mails, the recipient will not receive a functioning sensor.
Log Files: We and our trusted third-party service providers use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track users’ activities, recognise current and potential customers at a company name and location level and gather broad information for aggregate use in improving the site and its applications and services.
Do Not Track Signals: This website does not recognise browser “do-not-track” signals or similar mechanisms.
Web Notifications: We run web notifications on www.acxiom.co.uk. The notification works within the browser as a “service worker” which is a script that a browser runs in the background, separate from a web page. This enables features that do not need a web page or user interaction therefore no personal data is requested or exchanged.
The user can subscribe to web notifications by accepting the pop up on www.acxiom.co.uk. This allows Acxiom to send a web notification to a user’s device, pointing to a featured piece of content to download, a blog post or any page on the Acxiom website.
The user can opt out of web notifications at any time by clicking on Settings in the notification itself or by going to the privacy and security area of their browser settings.

In the event of a complaint you may contact the relevant supervisory authority which in the UK is the Information Commissioner’s Office whose address is Wycliffe House Water Lane Wilmslow Cheshire SK9 5AF.
For e-mail marketing, individuals may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism within the e-mail, which allows individuals to manage their subscription preferences regarding Acxiom’s newsletters, e-mail alerts and special offers. This mechanism does not allow a user to opt out of receiving transactional e-mail, such as registration confirmation, product updates and responses to direct requests.
